It is now 3:10am and we just spoke to Dr. Kourteas, he believes that he found the source of the bleed---a small blood clot and some vascular tissue from her first go around. He thinks that going in he may have bumped something that caused her to start bleeding, the cauterized (like saudering) and are very optimistic.
Jason's dad came back up so we wouldn't have to wait alone, Jason fell asleep in one of the empty sleeper rooms and I'm just waiting to go back and see her. If she looks good, we will go to the hotel---we are staying at the University Guest housing, a 5 minute walk from the hospital. Oh how I hope things will look up from here.
She is still open just like after her first surgery, mostly as a precaution and because she has been through enough today and needs to be able to rest. We're hoping to close her in a day or two. Her lungs are still recovering and that will take a day or two, but she is doing better.
Thanks again for all your love and prayers.

Praying that things continue to look better. She has come so far already, she will pull through this too.

Oh Deanna! You must be exhausted emotionally and physically. Grace is in our prayers. I am telling everyone I know to pray for her too! I love you!
Praying Praying Praying!! Hold on you and Grace are both fighters!!
Deanna I hope you dont' mind, but I started a prayer group on facebook. Anyone who wants to join or pass it on to others, it is "Prayers for Grace". Love you!
Deanna, I got this link from Kim on facebook. You are in our prayers. I had no idea you even had a second one, so it's good to be updated. (This is Jamie Guthrie, by the way... our blog is private so you wouldn't be able to see that it's me...) I hope things are going well. Stay strong.
Oh you guys. What a tough day. I woke up thinking about you guys and had to check on you sweet little one. Jacob had some bleeding after his OHS too that took a while to find and fix. I hope this last OR trip fixed everything and she can rest and recover (and you guys too).
Hugs & Prayers,
Christina from IHH
So sorry about the set backs. We are praying as a family for Grace and your family. Keep your faith strong.
Our thoughts are prayers are with little Gracie at this time. We have been thinking of you guys for the last day or so as she has been in surgery. Please let us know if we can do anything for you. Our little Peyton was in the hospital for 6 weeks after his Glenn. We will continue to pray for your little family.

We are sending our prayers your way. Thank you for the updates. You are doing great. Hang in there. You will make it through. :)
Hello, you do not know me, but I have a child in the PICU. We just joined the healing hearts. I just saw an update about your precious Grace. I know you must be so exhausted, please know that we are praying for your little miracle. We are really far away so I am not up there, but I am on Fridays, Saturdays, and part of Sunday. Our little guy is watched over by his grandma. I know we don't know you, and I know our situations are quite different, but we are hurting with you. Our little one is 15 months old and has spent 2 months of his life at home! We have been on this ride for a long time. Even if it is a shoulder to cry on. Please know we are there with you. Our prayers and thoughts always. Love, Cindy (grandma) Chance, Stacy, loving supporters of miracle Corbin!
We've been shedding tears of our own throughout this whole process. God bless all of your hearts!!! And especially Grace's.
Our family is praying for your beautiful little fighter! We sure hope today is a better day for your family and that things will go smoothly from here on out. She is a miracle.

Deanna, I hope and pray that Grace is doing better now and that you were able to get some rest. You are amazing being able to deal with all this. I know that Grace inherited some of that amazingness from you. We are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.
We've been praying for Grace and will continue to do so!! The Glenn was our worst as they said Owen had uncontrollable bleeding, low sats and he might not make it out of the OR. We spent 30days in recovery post Glenn.
I'm SO happy they found the source of Grace's bleed and hopefully took care of it for good. It stinks that you have been through so much! Just let out a scream anytime you need and CRY it out too! It's extremely frustrating to watch them go through this. Hopefully she'll be closed soon and you can snuggle her again.
Andrea
Jason and Deanna,
Our thoughts and prayers are also with you and your family and especially little Grace.
Love, Missy and Daniel McKown

Hello, My name is Jamie and I am one of the Vegas Neels. (although I am currently living in Indiana) I check your blog almost everyday, and am in such amazement of your strength. I have been thinking of you and Grace for the past 2 days, and just wanted to send another prayer your way. May God grant you and your Grace plenty of strength to overcome this and any trial that comes your way. You are truly blessed to have such a strong spirit to watch over and care for. Lots of hugs and prayers! Jamie
